North Wales has so much to offer its visitors and it truly a great place to spend your summer holidays. What ever type of holiday you are looking for North Wales will have something to suit all. If you are looking for a rambling holiday then what better place to start than Snowdonia National Park, this glorious mountain range is the largest in Wales and offers breathtaking views and glorious scenery.

If you prefer a beach holiday then there are various seaside resorts scattered along the North Wales coast from Rhyl right through to the Isle of Anglesey. One of the most popular seaside resorts in North Wales is Llandudno, an old Victorian town that still has lots of charm and elegance. The long promenade in Llandudno has numerous magnificent Victorian buildings all kept in remarkable condition offering fantastic sea views. Most of these Victorian buildings are now B&B’s or hotels.

If you enjoy camping holidays there are many campsites around North Wales to suit all budgets and tastes.

The Welsh climate is typically British, and can vary within just a few miles due to its proximity to the mountains and the coast.

There are a variety of activities that can be done in North Wales with walking being top of the list. There is an extensive list of designated walks offering stunning views, whilst exploring the mountain ranges and national parks. Other activities include pony trekking, water sports, mountain climbing & mountain biking, skiing on the dry ski slopes of Llandudno and many more.

North Wales is an easy place to travel around and many of the main routes offer ocean views, mountain views or both.

If you wish to visit Ireland then it’s just a ferry journey from Holyhead on the Isle of Anglesey. The shortest ferry route takes about 2 hours, but other ferries can take a bit longer. You can either go on the ferry as a foot passenger or by take your car.
